Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Fulfill all DOT compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
