Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within Georgia and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock interactions and delivery confirmations
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery receipts
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Southeastern US highways
- Zero preventable accidents in last 3 years
