Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo on time and in perfect condition.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the Apex Logistics brand professionally.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding status updates and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT card) valid for interstate travel.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
