Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily delivery logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
