Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight with forklift operation when required
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and HOS regulations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route conditions and ETA updates
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Regional Southwest route knowledge preferred
