Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks on regional routes (500-700 miles/day)
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Deliver freight on time in pristine condition
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 1+ year of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and ELDs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
