Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight across the Mid-South region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in resolving delivery exceptions or route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and regional highways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
