Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport goods to designated delivery points along a set route.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring the security of the shipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and customer signatures within the company's electronic logging device (ELD).
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Oklahoma geography and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
