Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver goods to designated stops in and around Phoenix.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at each delivery location.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in a similar route delivery role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and local Phoenix routes.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
