Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling equipment with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate driver's logs (DVIR) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records throughout the shift.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, every time, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
