Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight to local destinations within the Oklahoma City metro area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo during transit and perform proper load securement techniques.
- Maintain accurate records on Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Oklahoma geography and traffic patterns.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing minor vehicle maintenance checks.
