Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight in compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road signs, and safety protocols.
- U.S. citizenship or valid legal working status.
