Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards.
- Load and secure cargo using proper equipment to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
