Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe, timely, and legally compliant manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all freight is accounted for and in perfect condition.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain DOT compliance and vehicle health.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold the company's reputation for exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) and valid DOT number.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
