Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight safely and on time within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco and Northern California roadways.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
