Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Deliver cargo to customers in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts accurately.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate commerce.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills for trip planning and record keeping.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
