Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Cargo Management: Secure and inspect cargo to ensure it arrives at the destination in perfect condition.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required shipping documents.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients by arriving on time and communicating professionally.
Qualifications
- CDL Requirement: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred; we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Schedule: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
