Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers over designated routes in and around Milwaukee, WI.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by adhering to delivery schedules and professionalism.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable.
- Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cargo handling.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts and holidays as needed.
