Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel between Arizona and California as needed.
