Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on highways and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and cargo status.
- Ensure the preservation and security of all freight in transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of air brakes, cargo securement, and safety protocols.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US work authorization.
