Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within Houston and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and all required documentation
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area roadways
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to submit to background check
