About the Role:
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the United States. We value safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety of the cargo and the vehicle.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily paperwork, including delivery receipts.
- Adhere to strict company policies regarding driving hours and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required. (We offer training for qualified candidates!)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
