Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to cross state lines (Ohio & Virginia routes).
- Basic math skills for cargo and fuel calculations.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
