Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and over-the-road routes in and around Detroit, MI.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight limits and balance requirements.
- Complete daily logs (DOT 3072/3075), bills of lading, and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Prime Logistics Solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (with appropriate endorsements).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record with no recent major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
