Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all freight is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and routes.
- Uphold a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) at time of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (Entry-level candidates with a clean record considered).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
