Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailer, box truck, or van) safely and efficiently in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling equipment to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT paperwork.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Navigate delivery routes in the Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional image while on the road.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Air Brake (K) and Doubles/Triples (T) endorsements preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to use mobile apps for dispatch updates.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
