Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations in Boston and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for log management.
