Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Respond professionally to route changes and emergencies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with endorsements
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
