Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and mobile scanning systems
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with timely communication and professional interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Handle fragile, temperature-sensitive, or oversized packages with care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
