Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over designated routes in the Baltimore area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Accurately complete daily logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and special instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and cargo handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to represent our brand professionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet delivery demands.
