Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route adjustments as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
