Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management and delivery timelines
- Secure and verify cargo during transit and at delivery points
- Document all incidents, maintenance needs, and delivery exceptions
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable accidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR trucking experience
- Clear MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficient in ELD systems and basic navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commitment to 24/7 availability for urgent loads
