Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
- Ensure the preservation of cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Physical card required).
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (Entry Level candidates encouraged).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
