Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks in varying weather and road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic, and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
- Clean driving record with no more than one minor moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
