Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A delivery vehicles in a safe, timely, and professional manner across North Carolina and Georgia.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with extreme care, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of regional geography in North Carolina and Georgia.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
