Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a safe and timely manner on assigned routes in Texas and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Electronic Logging Devices) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and warehouse personnel.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Dual endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples) are a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic laws.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
