Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) to deliver freight on time and within company standards.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or damage accurately.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Handle minor vehicle maintenance issues and report major mechanical problems immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- 1-2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
