Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and legally in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/ACR) and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements (Tanker/Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years (clean MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US passport or Social Security Card.
