Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and ensure cargo is secure.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device) and maintain proper documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
