Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious drivers to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for transporting goods across the region, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of cargo safety. If you have a valid Class A or Class B CDL and are ready to work nights, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
