Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight and handle customer service inquiries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
