Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles in all weather and road conditions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and maintained in good working order.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen (if required for the specific role).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical demands such as lifting and climbing.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
