Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and securement methods.
- Maintain accurate records and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with DOT standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery details.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and road rules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
