Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on various routes within Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, electronic logging devices (ELD), and necessary paperwork (BOL, POD).
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred for long-haul, Class B for local).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
