Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in full.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch to ensure satisfaction and address any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, traffic patterns, and safety protocols while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
