Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B delivery vehicles in and around the Columbus, OH area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment.
- Deliver products to designated customer locations while adhering to strict time schedules.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any issues or questions on the spot.
- Keep the vehicle and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (no restrictions).
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and paperwork.
- Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
