Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for local/regional freight delivery in Glendale metro area
- Maintain clean, DOT-compliant vehicle and documentation
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and maximum efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Manage inventory and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance logs
- Submit accurate delivery reports and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification and required licensing
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015+ or equivalent)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and logistics software
