Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Uphold company safety standards and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Must own or lease a box truck meeting DOT specifications
- Willing to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends
