Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes using provided navigation systems
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Participate in ongoing training for industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (or willingness to obtain through training)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business ownership aptitude
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with dispatch
