Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional freight deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading with proper documentation and cargo securement
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely pickups and deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Personal DOT-compliant box truck (26' or smaller)
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance
